These indicators others will be on Abadi’s agenda and his efforts in facing a decisive stage before the start of the next elections, which is expected to begin in mid-May 2018. It will be one of the priorities that Abadi will face, and field examination for him and frank and effective confrontation with his political opponents and beneficiaries and proof of what he achieved in the last three years , which formed the first stage in the presidency of the Iraqi Ministry and the developments and potentials at all political, security and military levels and openness to build good relations with the neighboring countries of Iraq and the opening of new pages in relations with the Arab Gulf countries and openness to the European countries and strengthening the political capacity in an attempt to start to confront the arms of the Iranian regime in Iraq which is a responsibility and a precise and difficult confrontation that will be the key start for Abadi to complete his second phase in his political alliances and his continued support internally and , Arab, regionally and internationally in the renewal of his second mandate .

Among the priorities of the challenges that Abadi will face in the next stage are:
1. Abadi is one of the leaders of the Dawa Party, whose general secretariat is al-Maliki, who controls all his decisions, orientations, strategy, alliances and relations at home and his drawing for many aspects of confrontation with the political blocs and parties operating in the Iraqi arena. Thus the presence of al-Maliki at the head of the Dawa Party constitutes , considering Abadi the second man In the political bureau of the party , a very importance in determining the paths of the future work of Abadi , the question in this context will he be able to get out and away from the directives of al-Maliki and seeks to form a political opinion of his own and starting from it and prove that he represents the Iraqis political blocs and affiliations or will remain as a prisoner of the Dawa Party and its leadership , this is the first challenge and confrontation that is of paramount importance in determining the paths of future political action and alliances sought by Abadi.
2. Formations of popular crowd , leaderships, activities and movements on the ground and its relations with the military institutions and the executive bodies in the Ministry of Defense and the possibility of limiting its activities in the grip of Abadi or limiting its impact on the ground and its participation in the political and security decision or move away to act apart from all directions and instructions issued by Abadi as commander in chief of the Iraqi armed forces and based on the popular crowd law passed by the Iraqi Council of Representatives at the end of 2016, under which all the leaders of the crowd were under the orders of Abadi and working within the contexts and orders issued by him , but the fact of the matter as we see that many popular crowd formations have their field vision, their security and military relations, and even their religious authority(Marja ), all of which constitute an obstacle and a difficult path facing Abadi and trying to prove that he can work towards neutralizing the influence of the popular crowd leadership. Where he sought via his instructions to prevent the participation of political blocks and parties which have military formations in the upcoming elections and the audit accounts and funds of the popular crowd volunteers.
3. Financial waste, theft of public funds and corruption of the administrative bodies in the institutions and ministries operating in Iraq and hold on the public money and the loss of the wealth of Iraq because of the lack of vision and economic policy and work contexts and goals and projects with a strategic dimension serves the civilized development of Iraq and widespread cases of corruption, which became a key feature of the political process and the executive institutions therein , confirm the reality of the confrontation that Abadi should begin to communicate with the results achieved in the military field and reflect the reality of communication between political, military and economic action that achieves a true society with real dimensions and advanced results to build a new society dominated by the spirit of social justice and preservation of Iraq’s wealth and the accountability of corrupt and the imposition of sanctions against them, a confrontation will make Abadi in another challenge faced by many political leaders working within the effective and influential blocks and parties that could be a lot of obstacles bit if he succeeds to control them and demonstrate all the facts, evidence and documents that condemn the corrupt whatever their positions and locations , he will increase his fortunes in the second term because he will have popular and public support to eradicate corruption and prosecute the corrupt.
4. The direct challenge that could be a contributing factor in determining the future political and electoral process in Iraq is the success of Abadi in securing the return of displaced people to their governorates, homes and farms, directing the government effort to provide services within the institutions associated with ministries of service and assisting the people of the governorates that witnessed conflicts and field military confrontations over the past three years and sustaining the momentum of the service effort and finding ways to ensure the return of these families to their areas to be an effective indicator of the strength of Abadi and his potential in the leadership of the ministry and overseeing the implementation of all decisions and directions and his efforts to return Life to the affected areas and compensate its people and provide a better life for them and the standards that serve their existence and preserve them.
