The announcement came after weeks of wide differences within the corridors of the Council between the two trends, the first represents al-Hakim and includes young leaders, and the second led by leaderships, founders of the Council, and on its head, Baqir al-Zubaidi, who has held several ministries in the previous governments, most recently the Ministry of Transport, and Shiite cleric Jalaluddin al-Saghir. And the first deputy governor of Dhi Qar, Adil A-ldikhaili withdrew from the «Supreme Council» and joined the « national wisdom movement». He explained that his resignation was the result of «the emergence of a new political movement that believes in the future ideas and visions to keep up with the political development and challenge and combine all the people and its components and believe in moderation under the chairmanship of the wise man , Sayyid al-Hakim .»
Most members of the «council», his deputies and its leaders and its offices in the Iraqi cities have announced their support for al-Hakim, and his movement and to join the new movement. the House of Representatives said in a statement: «after the announcement of al-Hakim, the establishment of a national wisdom movement (al-Hikmah), which will be wherever the wisdom is , abide by the moderation, and the starting point for political, economic and community building», the «members of parliament associated with the former bloc of citizen (al-Mowatin)held an expanded exceptional meeting and studied the Declaration and the content of programs and visions, and found it contribute to building state of institutions, economic and societal reform, and they found that what they inspired for it to lift the injustice and unfairness for the Iraqi society and the upgrading of its reality towards national unity and overcome the narrow nomenclature. » He added that «bloc members decided to join the movement of national wisdom (al-Hikmah) and the establishment of a parliamentary bloc adopt the achievement of those visions and will include all members of the previous parliamentary citizen bloc (al-Mwatin) (29 deputies) ,with an exception of 5, and our doors are open to those who want to join us».
For its part, the political body of the Sadr blessed the declaration of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim , and announced in a statement that it followed «closely and with great interest the recent developments at the level of political action, and specifically in relation to the emergence of a new national movement and its separation from the Supreme Council in which we fought with it and with its men the midst of work, we shared the pains and hopes and we have agreed and disagreed in the fields and space and the first goal was the satisfaction of God and serve the people and the public interest » The statement added : «We are at the time we wish that the Supreme Council remains united together, we understand well the requirements of the phase and reasons for change and transitions that represent signs of health and recovery in the entire political work, and congratulate Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim and his new born movement this establishment and wish him good luck and success for the service of the people of Iraq to achieve the noble objectives ». Arab coalition headed by Salah al-Mutlaq congratulates Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, the formation of the national wisdom movement wishing to pass all narrow trenches of sectarian and ethnic dimensions.
Rawabet Center for Research and Strategic Studies has closely pursued reactions of previous leaderships of the Supreme Council such as Adel Abdul Mehdi and through his journalistic writings and reading between its lines on the formation of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim the movement of national wisdom, he is against any split but he congratulated him and appreciated his courage, and this matter is calculated for Adel Abdul Mahdi, he is through his political work realizes that it is difficult for any political organization to maintain its structural cohesion in case a conflict broke out among its members in the political visions, the best solution – then – is a peaceful dissent to preserve the history and symbolism of the organization. In this context, the question arises what is the future of the Supreme Council, and whether Adel Abdul Mahdi would return to it to lead the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iraq? Or will he run the elections away from it? To be a new name in the history of prime ministers of Iraq post 2003, and in 2017.
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim is , who currently heads the «National Alliance» , the one who combines various spectra of «Shiite House in Iraq», the most prominent political heir of Ahl al-Hakim, and the grandson of Ayatollah Muhsin al-Hakim, who is one of the most important religious authorities of the Shiites in Iraq and the Shiites in the Muslim world in general , presided the leadership of the Hawza of Najaf Al Ashraf over one of the most important centers in the world for religious studies of Shiite Jurist of Twelveth . In view of his national positions, Ayatollah Muhsin al-Hakim has enjoyed with great prestige in the Iraqi society. So Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim is the heir to this religious extension either on the organizational side , “political” as he has good relations with neighboring Arab countries where he was received by the Arab kings and presidents, as he has family ties with the family of the Al-Sabah ruling in the State of Kuwait and on the Islamic side , he enjoyed good relations also with Turkey, he is highly appreciated and respected by the Turkish leadership, headed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, noting that the Turkish leadership don’t forget the position of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim who follow up closely with the course of the night of the failed military coup in Turkey , as his brother Sayyid Mohsen Hakim also was recommended to follow up it . Also he has excellent relations with the Republic of Iran.
With this presence, it can be said that Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim exceeds the case of the abhorrent sectarianism that have brought Iraq and the region on the brink of the abyss. There is no doubt that Iraq as a result of what it has suffered, from economic, military, security and community , political disaster , it is now and post- Daesh stage in dire need of the mind of enlightenment as Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim who is heavily dependent on the element of youth to pump new blood in the community and the Iraqi policy .
There are those who believe that this is a risk by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, but the point of view of Rawabet Center for Research and Strategic Studies, sees just the opposite, that the movement of change led by Sayyid Ammar has become very necessary in order to regain Iraq its recovery, and eliminate all forms of corruption that has spread in all joints of Iraqi state. Change is the mode of life and it’s characteristic. The stage after Daesh is the stage of practical programs and entrench civil, political and economic rights in the Iraqi state, not political slogans and statements.
