In the follow-up to the new Iraqi political scene, there is a remarkable development that appeared to be characterized by a vote on the Ministerial Cab of Prime Minister-designate Dr. Adil Abdul-Mahdi. The American writer Ziglar says when obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal, you don’t change your decision to get there. The vote on the ministerial formation yesterday was a positive indicator of the new political movement in Iraq. It is a revolution against the past with all its political and democratic dimensions and looking forward to a promising future noting that despite objections and differences that may be acute sometimes but it is a step forward.
No matter what the predictions and analyzes, it is a remarkable healthy phenomenon , the vision of political reality at a distance differs from that of a close vision , the inspiring leader or the only leader is no longer exists , but there is the inspiring people and the only people. It is the wonderful people of Iraq who is a creating and continuing to challenge the obstacles imposed by contemporary political realities of political, economic and social challenges. The vote on the ministerial cab, though incomplete, is in response to the aspirations of a great people who have suffered a great deal of oppression and injustice, but that does not mean the end of everything , the people are following, hoping and looking forward to achieving their goals of security, services, repair and reconstruction. The Iraqi parliament voted yesterday on 14 ministries for elite ministers. however the parliament expressed its reservation to some ministries , namely defense , interior , education , higher education , planning , justice, vulture and immigration and votes on 14 ministries namely , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Oil, Communications, Transport, Construction and Housing, Trade, Agriculture, Youth and Sports, Health, Environment, Industry and Minerals, Labor and Social Affairs, Electricity and Water Resources.
Iraq votes in a practical translation of its federal democratic system and thus defies in spite of the perilous position in this nascent democratic experiment but Iraq and its cultural roots, the civilization of the Mesopotamian valley, has only begun to manifest itself once more and civilization is based on values and knowledge. It is the industry of life and continuous coordination and civilization in essence is a communicating with the past and looking to the future, moving within the limits of the possible is to reduce the difficulty we face, Iraq is the cradle of civilizations, it is the Assyrian, Akkadian , Babylon and Sumer civilization .
The vote came within the specific constitutional period to confirm the determination and will of the Iraqi people and the ministry is a tool to implement this will and not a maker of it. The people alone are the maker of this will. The Iraqi people with all their components Arabs, Kurds, Turkmens and all minorities looking for something new to fulfill the requirements and translate the slogans into deeds. The world watch and follow up what is happening in Iraq because Iraq affects and is affected by what is around it. In the calculation of the future and its goals, some of us sometimes forget that every political or non-political choice is inherently a “bet” on the prospects which have its own reasons and possibilities have its own estimates because these all present opportunities to its owners equal to their expectations without the assurances of the results and not the disregard of history to use the word “Bet” on the political options because each choice includes the degree and degree of great deal with the unknown in the sense that any politician is making his estimates and plans based on evidence seen by the insight available and senses the ability of his people and his nation to bear the costs of hope and work for it and expects in a calculation that it is possible to reach it , as he believes in himself, to be legitimate and to be responsible for what he has “bet on”. Thus, we wait, hope and see if the new thing will be achieved in all its political, economic and social dimensions after the vote on the ministerial cab and move forward, we hope so.
