I received this letter, “with the amendment to the language” by a person of Mosul commenting on the story of the girl from Mosul explaining the suffering people of the city hidden from a lot of Iraqis. The first thing I want to talk to it is that I am from Mosul, I’ve found a lot of people were gloat over what happened to the people of Mosul after entering Daesh and their occupation of the city, I want to brought my voice to the participants to comment on this ” group” What happened in Mosul, inside the city and in the suburbs since the fall of 2003 so far.
The first thing that happened after 2003 is the advent of the Peshmerga and starting to burn all the state departments in front of the eyes of the people of Mosul, noting there was no option for the people of Mosul just to keep silent only and subject without objection .The system has changed and we have to pay the tax of injustice of Saddam , he oppressed Kurds to a large extent, and we also oppressed , but not as strongly as the oppression of the Kurds, so we ceased and did not object, then the Peshmerga with the Americans to carry out attacks on the people, car of one them was taken on the grounds that he was a Baathist or was an officer in the army during the former regime, and then if the bombing got one patrol of American patrols , they arrested nearly “200,” a young man and beaten and humiliated and detained, then after that we asked God that the Iraqi army to come, so the army came and we were happy for the coming , but the policy of arrests and humiliations did not end but it has become more severe, as in the past, the arrests took place in the wake of the bombing, but now arrests made in order to get the money, which will not release the detainee only after paying about “5000” dollars on something he did not do, but if the bombing happened , the inspection of houses within an area of about a kilometer occurred and to confiscate all types of weapons from their homes, and all of a sudden when Daesh entered , all the different military and security forces escaped, where military point as near our houses , they fled and did not firing a single shot, and some ignorant people believed by suggesting to themselves that Daesh would be the salvation, that they can not account for the “2%” of the people of Mosul, and in fact they are the scum of society of Mosul, but unfortunately their image and their actions pervaded on the entire community of Mosul, unfortunately it has led to an increase in pain, and even those proponents of Daesh regretted greatly after the fact of Daesh was disclosed .
And here I wonder who is the oppressed in front this reality ? The answer is the innocent people of Mosul are oppressed, we are told, ” the people of Mosul deserve for what happened to them ,Why they do not revolt,” I wonder here how they revolt ? How can we confront those demons from Daesh? These criminals found it easy to kill any human being as we found it easy smoking a cigarette, and this little girl stricken and her brother represents our suffering, the next few days will disclose dozens of stories that heartbreaking, I am affected by deep sympathy for the little girl and her younger brother by many people from different parts of Iraq, and some expressed their desire for the adoption of her noting that we are more deserve to adopt her , but good intentions represent their authenticity, and with the severity of pain over the tragic incident , but I am relieved to this good emotional breaths, which represents the reality of the Iraqi man, we were and we will continue to love one another as the sons of one country does not divide us but politicians from Saddam’s time and, unfortunately, it continues to this day,we do not want from our Iraqi brothers from other areas, but to understand our situation and that does not gloat with us, this increase our suffering and our sorrow and our grief . the story of the girl and the officer can be found on the following link: –
