Military confrontations continued between Iraqi security and military forces of all its different forms and formations with Daesh fighters and his leaders inside the center of the city of Mosul and entered its third month in field images on which many routes and defensive lines and offensive methods were followed , and all heavy weapons and guided missiles and launchers and mortars were continuously used through fierce battles and clashes which have caused many victims of the local residents and civilians of the inhabitants in the city and its suburbs, and took serious dimensions including of humanitarian, environmental and social disasters, reflected negatively on the nature of life and its continuity in all city facilities that have a negative impact on the movement of the continuity of life of the citizen who suffers crises and shortages of food and medical supplies and requirements of decent living, and we can define these landmarks according to field events that have occurred, and taken place on the ground as follows:
1.The command of the international coalition has been excessive in the use of long-range weapons of guided missiles, and rocket launchers and continued aviation on the sites and locations of fighters Daesh especially within residential neighborhoods of the old city, specifically of what has happened to the area of Al Mawsil al-Jadidah of the brutal massacre and humanitarian disaster , represented by the martyrdom of 531 people , all were of the civilian population who are resident in this region and a lot of facts about this disaster were tackled and how these homes have been hit with missiles launched by the international coalition, but they were not convincing and serious to correct the huge mistake committed by the aircrafts of international coalition , and the resultant of heavy casualties, and all the flimsy arguments and excuses made by the US leaders and field officials did not work to change the crime, or the dimensions of suspicions about the alliance.
2. The excessive use of weapons by field commanders including the use of mortars and rocket launchers and heavy guns inside the city and the random shelling by both sides (leaders Daesh around the residential neighborhoods and security forces deployed around the areas that were controlled in the right coast) and the result of this random act and the lack of discipline in control to the use of weapons effectively caused a lot of civilian martyrs and destroyed their houses and burned their belongings and many internal buildings and streets were hit which weakens the process of progress towards achieving many of the military targets on the ground.
3.The federal police forces and rapid deployment forces are moving slowly, and have not been able to reach the Great Mosque of Al – Nouri (Al Noree A Kaber Mosque), who became a symbolic area for everyone and as it is known that its importance comes as the place where Abu Bakr al – Baghdadi gave his known sermon on June 29, 2014 and announced the establishment of the state of the Islamic caliphate, despite all attempts to advance from the area of Al-Arbea’a Market towards the Bab El Saray and the surrounding areas, but the field forces were unable to foil attempts and defensive measures taken by elements Daesh, and the face of the barricades and concrete blocks and snipers located on the roofs of buildings and residential houses , and the fighters deployed within the sub-routes of the streets and Alleys.
4.The counter – terrorism forces are trying to achieve a contact with the West Bank of the River Tigris by maintaining its progress to neighborhoods (Nablus-Yarmuk-al- Thawrah) down to the beginnings of the fifth bridge; to achieve a field completion to be able to move freely and, control of the main streets leading to other neighborhoods , namely: (Rafai -Nagar-al-Zerai), and the achievement of a security breach through which it can encircle the movement of fighters Daesh in these neighborhoods.
5.Brigades and fighters of popular crowd and al-Abass division and IX Armored Division in the western axis , specifically in the area of Badush which belongs to the Hamidat area managed to achieve and accomplish all combat missions and cut the road that is linking between the districts and sub centers of Tal Afar towards Mosul city center and control many of the important sites including Badush area: (Badush Dam –the building of Badush-prison , facility of Geber bin Haian and the factory of Badush cement ), these are facilities and the buildings that were used by elements Daesh in target acquisition and in the face of advanced military units.
6. The command of the Iraqi Air Force and Army Aviation intensified its patrol sorties on the districts and sub centers (Afar- al-Hadhar-Baaj), and carry out pre-emptive strikes on the headquarters and sites of the leaders Daesh and preparing for the start in the developing field plans that prepare the advanced security forces to achieve its goals and purpose of defeating the fighters Daesh in this important places.
