After he succeeded in reorganizing the Iraqi army in record time after its defeat and sudden repercussions in Mosul and Nineveh province three years ago, the Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi managed , who was brought to the rescue and reform , to achieve the first big major goal, the liberation of Mosul and the majority of areas of Iraq and elimination of the organization Daesh after the receipt of Abadi the post of prime ministry and the General Command of the armed forces . On the eighth of the current august, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi put forward at the press conference his vision for the future of Iraq, which included all “internal and external policy”, and military, economic, security and social aspects of the state.

Abadi’s vision after the liberation and the victory is a series of steps that can be summed up in seven interrelated points that do not precede each other or separate , and must go together in a serious dialogue and community reconciliation that ends the page of terrorism and its destruction , displacement and crimes against humanity ». This first vision includes a restoration of security, stability and basic services and enable the displaced people to return to their homes and their participation in the construction and reconstruction of what was destroyed by ISIS , and take care of the families of the martyrs and the wounded and the fighters who sacrificed their blood in defense of the homeland, as well as those affected by terrorism and rehabilitation of the community to erase the remnants of ISIS and the culture of violence and hatred, and mobilize all national efforts in order to achieve these national and humanitarian goals”.

And the second vision is a commitment to respect the other and peaceful coexistence with all partners in the homeland who are different religiously and ideologically, and intellectually and respect for their holy places, and the protection of minorities and the sanctity of places of worship for all religions and sects, and this represents a basis for community reconciliation ». And the third vision is not to allow the return of the cases and manifestations that were prevalent in Iraq at the stage of pre-occupation ISIS for cities, a state of hatful agitation, tension, sectarian and national ditching at the expense of the supreme interests of the country , this has contributed to the empowerment of ISIS to bring down cities and provinces .
Therefore it requires a commitment to the speech, which enshrines the spirit of citizenship and urges unity and cooperation and not to allow ISIS and any terrorist and criminal organization to return again and cover it in the liberated cities or allow the growth of new terrorist cells », adding that« the fourth point is the importance of establishing good neighborly relations based on the common interests with neighboring and regional countries, and the work with our own national will and our own independent decision taking in to consideration that our will and our positions are not subject to external circles in terms of our issues and national interest.

The arms must be put in the hands of the state and the abolition of the armed manifestations permanently, and respect for the judiciary and the rule of law in all aspects of the state and society, which represents the fifth point in our vision of the post-liberation and victory ». He pointed out that «the sixth point is to continue with all the strength and determination and the cooperation of everyone to fight corruption in all its forms and manifestations because it is the largest incubator of terrorism and crime. And the seventh point is to rule out institutions and government departments from political interference and quotas and non-appropriation of the location of responsibility and public posts in order to achieve justice. »

If this vision is implemented, Iraq can be rebuilt in all aspects which is ranked as a failed state. Haider Abadi seeks a real required change, both domestically and abroad, at the first level Abadi, seeks to remove Iraq from the dark tunnel through the restoration of national cohesion and the consolidation of coexistence policy between social components in which rejecting the sectarian approach in the exercise of rule in Iraq and a fighting of corruption and to put arms in the hands of the state under the law and abide by it and do not violate the security of the state. Haidar Abadi is with “community reconciliation” in his opinion , it is the more comprehensive than the national reconciliation which is required in turn between the parties and communities noting that the community reconciliation enters into every Iraqi house in which the terrorism and the takfiri thought had tried to deviate the belief and raises hatred within each Iraqi family and tribe .

On the external level, he is with the policy of openness and Arab and Iraqi rapprochement, and against the policy of axes and polarization. And establish good relations with the regional and international environment on political, economic and trade levels. At the external level, , Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi looks at some point after the victory over Daesh, according to those who are concerned to the Iraqi affairs , that Iraq is the scene of a meeting between international and regional adversaries and it is not an arena for conflict between them, and this has been reflected in his visit to Saudi Arabia, Iran and Kuwait last month, which was entitled “cooperation to eliminate Daesh”, and before that months ago he has visited the United States and met with its president, Donald Trump, and the visit was fruitful and it was resulted to exit Iraq from the US embargo countries to travel, and then the visit focused on Trump’s plan to defeat Daesh and Iraq’s role in it , and Abadi is aware that it is not different from the plan of his predecessor, Obama , and therefore the absence of any change in US policy toward Iraq which is based on the work to reduce Iranian influence on Baghdad, as it pursued by the previous administration.

Abadi is the best one who raises the question of compatibility, reform and change, as he is aware of all things in the country. What was put forward by Abadi at the press conference was the closest to Iraqi reality, as if his vision of Iraq is achieved, you will be in front of a statesman in Iraq after Daesh.
