The landmarks of US invasion of Iraq drew a new image that has become one of the characteristics of Iraqi society , which clearly affected the state of social homogeneity ,and cohesion of its national unity, and others have contributed to the state of security chaos and disorder and the emergence of several aspects in the process of the daily deal identified the behavior of the Iraqi man and his orientations, and allowed the regional and international intervention in all areas of political, security and economic life due to the lack of political will and lack of clarity of vision in the development of a basic and a consensual program for the leadership of the state where this matter contributed to the emergence of a number of groups that have the impact on the lives of citizen and the targeting of his security and safety , a non-disciplined groups worked on the trade in arms, ammunition and military equipment including vehicles and cars used by many military forms .
Rawabet Center got accurate information and from private sources that undisciplined groups have traded with these vehicles and sold many of them to military institutions in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, including the vehicles of (Hummers) noting that Iraq import each one of them at $ 220 thousand dollars while these groups sold it to the region at $ (25-30) thousand dollars in the process of stealing and looting and black trade of the important equipment, cars and vehicles that they were supposed to be used to secure the requirements of the preservation of the security and safety of Iraq and its people .

The Rawabet Center for Research and Strategic Studies has previously indicated to the seriousness of the situation in an article titled (with an Iraqi help, we may soon see an IranianAbrams tank) on July 5, 2017.
That of the most dangerous thing that the Iraqi society is now facing is the possession of heavy weapons and equipment that the people are coming to buy them for several reasons , including personal protection for them and their families, homes and property and these weapons are also used for tribal purposes , and this is what we have seen in several Iraqi provinces where heavy weapons and equipment have been used in the settlements of tribal disputes and social disagreements as it was happened in the provinces of Basra and Dhi Qar.

And that there are dozens of individual incidents that occur in many cities of Iraq where manual grenades of both offensive and defensive types are used in the side disputes or the settlements of conflicts between individuals and are carried out by throwing grenades on either the homes or offices and commercial shops. As for the question from where do these traders get these weapons and equipment, as we said some of them are purchased from the uncontrolled bodies and elements or armed groups and arms rolling for sale enough to form serious armed organizations able to occupy the entire cities .

The one who sees the displayed weapons in Maridi market located in Sadr City , he will imagine that it is used to protect the security of Iraq from the inside and never comes in to his mind that it was used to solve a lot of problems and social conflicts, and those who undertake the iintroduction of many of the weapons and equipment , no one can oppose them because of their influence and control and their financial and armament abilities and their wide relationships .

Those who wish the acquisition of these weapons and purchase them are present continuously inside the Maridi market and extend their relations and strengthen its ties with many arms dealers to get what they want and they need pistols, light and medium machine guns, and even heavy equipment and through secret deals of high amounts and by certain people and they have extensive links with networks of arms smuggling and trafficking of it .
There are other substantial reasons regarding the lack of security and intelligence control of military authorities in the follow-up of many undisciplined elements or that are associated with armed elements, many of the concerned people attribute the arrival of these weapons to the large number of booty obtained as a result of confrontations or battles waged by the forms of the Iraqi army and formations associated to it and transfers of weapons and equipment and the lack of effective field control to deal with this dangerous phenomenon.

Although many of the meetings and discussions contained in the meetings of Ministerial Council for Iraqi National Security to provide constructive views and proposals and to harness all the possibilities in the follow-up to this phenomenon and to reduce it and follow-up of the characters who are behind them, the executive bodies were unable to curb the phenomenon of arms trafficking, which has become a worry to the Iraqi social milieu and threaten the internal security of Iraq.
